Emergency Coordination Center (ECC)

The Emergency Coordination Center provides necessary space and facilities for the centralized direction and control of the following functions:

  • Direction of emergency operations
  • Communications and warnings
  • Damage assessment and reporting
  • containment and / or control of hazardous material incidents / emergencies
  • Dissemination of severe weather watches and warnings
  • Actions to protect the health and safety of the campus, to include
    • Public information, instructions, and directions
    • Evacuation and / or sheltering
